    Description

Mintie, LLC is a global provider of Indoor Environmental Solutions for over 80 years. Wildfire season in the Western states has become inevitable. As employees have returned to the office and business and facilities, have resumed operations, the health, welfare, and safety of employees and customers are prioritized. The Mintie Corporation provides negative air machine rentals or purchases depending on what the facility or property needs are.

Negative air machines remove contaminants from the air in an enclosed space and prevent the contaminants from escaping into other parts of the building.

They create a negative air pressure vacuum that draws air through a filter to remove smoke, fumes, dirt, fungus, mold, dust, microbes, and other particles. They can be used as air scrubbers to filter and recirculate air within a space, or they can be attached to ductwork to exhaust contaminated air out of a building.

To create a negative pressure environment, there has to be more air leaving the room than the amount that enters, and the Negative Air Unit must be inside the containment with ductwork to exhaust the filtered air.

    Air Scubbers

Specifically designed to maximize product performance

    • Improve Indoor Air Quality by trapping airborned particles
    • Has a carbon filter attachment which can trap odors
    Description

An air scrubber filters out the gases, particles, or chemicals out of a particular area. It is generally used to improve indoor air quality by trapping airborne particles. There is also a carbon filter attachment that can be put on the end of the air scrubber, which can trap odors. Using an air scrubber during mold/dust cleanup is extremely important for health and liability reasons. If mold or other hazardous materials are released in the air, they may contaminate neighboring areas of your property, office, business, or home previously uncontaminated.

Air scrubbers have triple stage filtration with HEPA filters. The Hepa filter will capture small particles such as mold, bacteria, lead, dust and many other airborne contaminants. Air scrubbers will continuously clean the air and provide a clean, healthy and productive environment.

    Activated Charcoal Filters

Filters most commonly used to remove gas

    • Combat Volatile Organic Compounds release in everyday household products
    • Remove odors from the air, such as smoke from brush fires and wildfires
    Description

Carbon air filters are the filters most commonly used to remove gases. They are designed to filter gases through a bed of activated carbon (also called activated charcoal). They are usually used to combat volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released from everyday household products. They are also often used to remove odors from the air, such as the smell of smoke from brush fires and wildfires.

Activated carbon has unique properties that allow it to remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odors, and other gaseous pollutants from the air. Some of the gases in wildfire smoke can be removed from the air by a carbon filter. Benzene, toluene, xylene, and some chlorinated compounds are among those that carbon filters may remove.
