Mintie continues its history of collaborative innovation with a new line of Disposable Envelopes (DE).
Reliability and high performance now merge in an affordable disposable solution for containment
standardization. With a MSRP from $99 ($1,895 for a frame and 3 DE, $3,480 for a discounted bundle
with a HEPA filtered NAM and mobile platform), Mintie believes these products will change how facilities
and contractors approach ICRA compliance per CDC, Joint Commission and other recommendations.
The lower cost and disposable nature these products will provide customers with:
- A consistently new, clean and professional looking containment envelope
- Reduced risk by eliminating decontamination and any potential oversights
- Greater efficiency due to an easier to use, lighter weight product and fast clean up
- The ability to standardize usage and improve compliance
- Better cash flow management and easier project cost allocation
Mintie Cares about the environmental footprint of disposable products. The fire retardant plastics used in
these products are recyclable. The DE also contains revolutionary new additives which allow plastic
sheeting to biodegrade. Other components are made using natural fibers or 100% renewable soybean
plant based oils instead of petroleum. These biodegradable and environmentally friendly elements ensure
that Mintie disposable products are manufactured in line with the “green” initiatives which Mintie and
many of our customers care about.
The fire retardant disposable envelope is built to fit on the industry leading Mintie ECU external frame.
And the light product weight, 2.5 lbs., enhances the advantages the frames provide. Easier to transport
than ever, the single piece collapsible frames can be deployed with a DE in a matter of minutes.
Features like the integrated tacky mat are only possible because the product is disposable. When work is
done the envelope acts as its own bag and is then put back into the original blue packaging (also a bag)
for additional safety. This removes the risks associated with poor or neglected post use decontamination,
which concerns many luminaries, and speeds up work by removing the cleaning requirement.
