Mintie Corporation of Scandinavia on the MS Nautica in Genoa Italy
Mintie Corporation of Scandinavia (MCS) recently finished HVAC maintenance work on the MS Nautica during dry dock at Genoa, Italy. It was the first project completed for Prestige Cruise Holdings/Oceania Cruises and involved exhaust ductwork cleaning for 450 guest cabins as well as bacterial washing of all ventilation units over an 11 day period. The cleaning will help provide high indoor air quality and ensure passenger comfort for years to come. Dry dock work on cruise ships is particularly difficult due to the wide range of simultaneous projects. Over 400 employees from various contractors created a chaotic and crowded environment. Mintie's comprehensive planning and experienced staff allowed the project plan to be executed correctly and efficiently. Mintie now serves markets across Europe. We are proud to announce that Prestige Cruise Holdings/Oceania Cruises has asked Mintie to provide services on-board the Nautica sister ships MS Insignia and Regatta. Comprehensive ventilation cleaning and maintenance services will be provided during dry dock in the fall of 2010 and early 2011.
